Okan is not always available because supply is difficult and drying takes long. Okan is a lively wood with good value for money and durability. Warping is normal and is largely compensated by the tongue and groove joint, so it is not covered by the warranty. For a more stable wood, you can choose padauk. Tip: when fitting in dry weather, leave enough play in the groove so the boards have room to expand in damp weather.
