Wooden sandpit M051

Wooden Sandpit M051 – A Functional and Safe Outdoor Play Area for Children

The wooden sandpit is a practical and safe outdoor play space. This sandpit has a unique folding lid that turns into two comfortable benches. When the lid is closed, it protects the sand from moisture and dirt. Open, it provides a cosy place to sit and play. The folding lid keeps the sand clean and dry by protecting it from rain, leaves and other outdoor dirt.

Weather-resistant: To increase durability, we recommend treating the wood with a protective wood preservative. This increases resistance to moisture, UV radiation and temperature changes.

Easy assembly and creative decoration: Made of untreated pine or spruce without harmful chemicals, this sandpit is completely safe for children. The natural wood means the sandpit can easily be painted or finished, a perfect opportunity for children to get creatively involved in an outdoor project.

Ideal as a wooden sandpit, a safe outdoor toy for children and durable outdoor play furniture.

Properties of Natural Wood

We only use high-quality FSC®-certified wood. The wood has fine knots, a smooth surface and a light, even colour.

Good to know:

• Small cracks and colour differences are natural characteristics of wood.
• Small gaps between the boards are caused by the wood moving. Once properly treated, the wood stops “moving”.
• Dimensions may vary by 1–2 mm due to natural wood properties.

Caring for the Wooden Sandpit

• Treat all wooden parts before assembly with a wood preservative.
• After assembly, finish the table with exterior paint or varnish for protection against rain, moisture and sunlight.
• Check the paint layer every 6 months.
• Clean with a soft, damp cloth; avoid harsh cleaning agents or chemicals.

---
