Padauk Battens – Modern Elegance for Your Façade
Discover the contemporary look of our padauk battens, which give your façade a sleek, modern character. This cladding can easily be fitted horizontally or vertically and can be combined with wider boards for a playful effect. The padauk battens are planed square and fitted with a 10 mm gap.
Ordering information:
- The price shown is per square metre, based on a 1 cm gap.
- The battens measure approx. 20 x 45 mm.
- Allow for about 10% cutting waste when ordering. For example, if you need 20 m2, order 22 m2.
- Our cladding is supplied as standard in random lengths according to stock (usually between 2,5 and 3,5 m). Fixed lengths are available at extra cost.
Quality of the padauk battens:
- These battens are FAS grade.
- Padauk is a tropical hardwood in durability class I, suitable for indoor and outdoor use.
- The bright orange colour of freshly sawn padauk turns a beautiful grey, bringing out the grain even more.
- Padauk is known for greying faster than other tropical hardwoods.
- The stability of padauk ensures a durable finish for your façade.
Installing padauk battens: Our cladding installation instructions contain all the information you need. As stated in the article, remember to use a UV-resistant membrane with open cladding.

- Wood is a natural product, and these battens may show small cracks or splits as they dry. If necessary, these boards must be shortened or sorted out.
- Laying in a random pattern, where lengths may vary, is recommended as an economical and attractive solution.
- If you choose fixed lengths, we make sure you can use all the boards you ordered at the required length without defects.
