Padauk Battens – Modern Design for Any Façade

Ordering information:
- The price shown is per square metre, based on a 1 cm gap.
- The battens are supplied as an assortment of approx. 2/3 20 x 45 mm and 1/3 20 x 90 mm.
- Allow for about 10% cutting waste when ordering. For example, if you need 20 m2, order 22 m2.
- Standard delivery is in random lengths according to stock (usually between 2,5 and 3,5 m).
- Fixed lengths are available at extra cost.
Quality: These padauk battens are FAS grade; as a tropical hardwood in durability class I, padauk is suitable for indoor and outdoor use. The bright orange colour of freshly sawn padauk soon turns grey, bringing out its beautiful grain even more. Its stability guarantees an attractive and durable finish for your façade.
Installing padauk battens: Find the installation instructions for cladding here. Note that, as stated in the article, a UV-resistant membrane is essential with open cladding.
Further information: Wood is a natural product, and these battens may also show small cracks or splits as they dry. Boards may need to be shortened or sorted out where necessary. Laying in a random pattern, where lengths may vary, is recommended as an economical and attractive solution. If you choose fixed lengths, we make sure you can use all the boards you ordered at the required length without defects.
