Discover our stables in different styles
Our stable project photos show a wide range of possibilities, tailored to the wishes of horse owners throughout Flanders. Every stable is designed with attention to durability, safety, ventilation and appearance.
- ✔ single-skin stables in tongue-and-groove boards
- ✔ double-skin premium stables with shuttering plywood interior finish
- ✔ insulated stables for a wash bay or tack room
- ✔ stables with a gable roof, mono-pitch roof or flat roof
- ✔ timber cladding in Douglas fir, thermowood, hardwood or treated timber
- ✔ stables with integrated access doors, windows and ventilation openings
The photos show compact models as well as large stables with several boxes, storage areas and service rooms.
Self-build or fully finished: you choose the option
Bear Wood offers three different building methods, which you can also clearly see in the stable project photos:
1. DIY stables
Our self-build kits are prepared to measure in our workshop, so customers can build their stable themselves. Many photos show projects completed entirely by customers.
2. Prepared kits
For those with less experience, we can pre-assemble critical parts, making installation easier.
3. Fully installed stables
Our team can also build your stable completely, including the finish. These projects are characterised by a high level of finish and bespoke work in every detail.
Materials you see in our project photos
The stables on this page are made from durable, robust wood species, each with its own advantages:
- ✔ Douglas fir – warm character, strong value for money
- ✔ Thermowood – modern, stable and low-maintenance
- ✔ Hardwood (padauk, moabi, ipe…) – extremely durable with a luxurious look
- ✔ Impregnated timber – budget-friendly solution
- ✔ Shuttering plywood – ideal as interior cladding up to approx. 2,5 metres
